چکیده

The current study intends to characterize the respiratory tract infections that have an association with gram positive bacterial pathogens, emm typing, pattern of antibacterial resistance in isolated phenotyping virulence factor and molecular detection Macrolide gene. Various samples from patients were collected identification antimicrobial susceptibility clinical isolates was performed as per standard laboratory procedure. Macrolides (Eruthromycin, Clindamycin)-resistant again subjected MIC method. Macrolide-inducible clindamycin (D test) conducted upon Erythromycin Clindamycin discs. Multiplex PCR used detect genes all three types macrolide strains. Serum Opacity Factor (SOF) detected for GAS. Every isolate checked produce biofilm through micro titre plate Bacterial growth got registered 156 (36.28%) samples. most common URI GAS i.e., 64 (14.9%), only be followed by GGS 38(8.8%), GCS 29 (6.7%) Staphylococcus aureus 18 (4.2%). Among GAS, one recorded blood, whereas 8.50% sputum rest. All 71 found exhibit sensitivity towards Penicillin Ceftriazone. exhibited 55% Mtype 40% resistant cMLS 5% iMLS. showcased equal number M type too. portrayed 54.54% 36.36% 9.09% iMLS least resistance. identified Streptococcus pyogenes is bacteria cause recur infection. prevalence tends change geographically periodically. For this purpose achieve a sound public health outcome, periodical screening antibiotic-resistance becomes inevitable.

Molecular Epidemiology of Streptococcus pneumoniae Isolates from Children with Recurrent Upper Respiratory Tract Infections

A total of 125 isolates were recovered from adenoids and/or nasopharynx of 170 children aged 2 to 5 from south-east Poland; they had undergone adenoidectomy for recurrent and/or persistent symptoms of upper respiratory tract infections. Pneumococcal isolates were analyzed by phenotyping (serotyping and antimicrobial resistance tests) and genotyping together with the clonality of the pneumococca...

Antibiotic Susceptibility of Streptococcus Pyogenes Isolated from Respiratory Tract Infections in Dakar, Senegal

Group A Streptococcus (GAS) is one of the major causes of respiratory tract infections. The objectives of this study were to identify isolates of S. pyogenes obtained from respiratory tract infections, and to assess their susceptibility to several antibiotics. A total of 40 strains were isolated and their susceptibility to 17 antibiotics was tested using a standard disk diffusion method. The mi...
